Chilkat Seal Design Silk Tie in gold. The design is based on a woodcut from the Tribal Art of the Northwest Coast Collection.
The Chilkat are a Northern band of the Tlingit people, living in Southeast Alaska. Their weaving techniques are among the most complex in the world, allowing their artists to use curvilinear and circular forms within the weave itself.
The tie is 100% printed silk and measures approximately 56-57 inches long by 4 inches wide at the widest part. Colors of the print are gold, cranberry, black and white. Gift boxed.
