This raven cotton zip pouch in turquoise, green, black, and white is designed by First Nations artist Connie Dickens. According to the raven and the sun legend, it tells the story of Txa'msem - the raven who stole the sun from the Chief, above the hole in the sky. The raven then came back down and released the sun, gifting the world with light. This contemporary raven design reflects the artist's interpretation of this very important indigenous animal symbol.
The cotton zip pouch measures 5 1/4 inches x 6 1/4 inches with a zippered top and key ring.
Designed and made in Canada.
